API Builder¶

The API Builder service provides an automated way to generate GraphQL or REST APIs for existing Sidra Data Products. It analyzes the providers and entities within a given Data Product, streamlining the creation of API endpoints without the need for extensive manual coding. This metadata-driven approach ensures that exposed data remains consistent and accessible for both internal and external consumers.

In addition to generating the API itself, the API Builder automatically provisions the necessary infrastructure to host it within the Data Product. By handling everything from deployment pipelines to security configurations, it reduces overhead and promotes a standardized API experience across Sidra’s integrated ecosystem. This combination of automation and flexibility allows organizations to rapidly extend and adapt their data services in response to changing requirements.
