Sidra Web Sections¶
This page provides an overview of the main sections available in Sidra Web.
Service-Specific Documentation
This page introduces the primary features accessible from the Sidra Web interface. For complete service-specific documentation, refer to the Services section.
Data Catalog¶
The Data Catalog allows users to browse and search through Providers and Entities available in the platform, depending on access permissions. It offers rich data exploration and documentation features through an intuitive interface.
For a complete breakdown of functionality, visit the Data Catalog documentation.
Notifications¶
In addition to the notifications widget on the home page, Sidra Web provides a dedicated Notifications section for reviewing messages with expanded detail.
This section can be accessed via the notifications widget or directly through the Notifications menu option. It displays a list of unread system notifications scoped to the Sidra installation. Users can mark notifications as read, which removes them from their personal view but retains them in the Core.Notifications
table.
Log Search¶
The Log Search section displays a real-time view of platform logs, retrieved from the Util.Log
table. This section includes filtering options to narrow down search results by message, type, timestamp, and more.
Release Notes¶
The Release Notes section offers a historical view of all Sidra platform releases. Users can view the release summary and access the full changelog as published in the official documentation.
Data Products Catalog¶
The Data Products Catalog presents a list of registered Data Products within the platform. Users can view product details and metadata.
Since the 2023.11 release, configuration of Data Products can be performed directly from Sidra Web, including edits to core settings and linked Entities:
DSU Management¶
The DSU Management section displays configuration and operational details for all deployed Data Storage Units (DSUs) in the platform.
This includes information such as:
- Associated Databricks cluster
- Resource group and region
- Number of Providers and Entities
- Metadata synchronization status
